Eritrean immigrants arrive by boat in Italy

Would-be immigrants from Eritrea arrive by boat in the port of Italy's southern island of Lampedusa on August 21, 2008. Nearly 900 would-be immigrants have arrived on Italian shores in the last two days, putting new pressure on an already overcrowded processing centre, a coastguard spokesman told AFP on Friday.
